If there is somewhere inside a home that resists being renovated, that is the kitchen next to the bathroom. It is normal, they are the two places that would cost us more money to renew them completely, and the most difficult to renovate. The living room and other rooms, with a simple change of paint and some new furniture would make a new look to it, but the kitchen is not the case.
Today and although the price of kitchen furniture has dropped so much, is still too much for most kitchen reform. But today we will see how with 50 dollars or less can renovate the kitchen easy, quick and inexpensive.
First we see the kitchen as it was before the reform. Not that I was in bad shape or anything, just, its owners had grown tired of their looks and decided to get down to work on their own and completely change its appearance.
Well, this is the look of the kitchen, and now I tell you the materials they needed.
- Synthetic white enamel.
- 1 wooden pallet.
That’s it. Did you expect anything else? No, just those materials and a little skill and patience you will see that kitchen has reformed beautifully.
If you look deep beneath the kitchen furniture, wall graffiti seems to be white, but it is not, it is a sheet of plastic to waterproof the plaster wall behind.
Well then the piece of plastic that covers the whole area is removed, what is left as a template for making on it a completely different background is with pieces of recycled wood made of a pallet. As they did on the plastic template, wood fit perfectly into the hole where it was before the plastic sheet. So now, instead of having a white plastic sheet, we have a beautiful rustic background made of recycled wood.
Then paint the kitchen furniture, especially the doors of the furniture. The inside of the furniture was left intact, you did not touch them, and all the work was done. Here is the fully renewed for less than 50 dollars.
As I said before, if you do not like this style with which they decorated the kitchen, it does not matter, since the basis of this idea can change the color to white for the one you like and the bottom if you do not like, instead of putting a plastic template, you can put recycled wood, paint, glass doors, or any material you prefer to. The idea was that the essence of how easy and cheap it can be to reform a kitchen.
And I also want to refer to it before I mentioned that maybe I could go for free, because on the basis that it only takes a wooden pallet, you can probably get them free from the left over of another project, maybe you don’t even need any penny.
